Our Complete range of products are Peeled Licorice Sticks and Licorice Slices.
To produce peeled licorice sticks, licorice roots are peeled to remove the barks of the long sticks, which belong to the Glycyrrhiza glabra species. The sticks carry a high content of glycyrrhizin acid, glycyrrhizin and glabedin, and are used primarily as a flavor and for making extract. The length of the sticks ranges from 7 to 12 inches; the diameter is between 5 and 8 millimeters.
To produce liquorice slices, liquorice long sticks are cleaned, selected and then sliced. The slices are popular in the Far East, and are frequently used in food, beverages, and other natural applications.
