The forming chisels and cones are used for this purpose and are made of the right quality of diamond cut and polished to the profile of the part to be ground. These chisels and cones are made with tolerance for radius and angles. Forming dressers are used on machines such as Matrix, Newell, Reishauer etc. whereas the Chisel dressers are used on machines such as Diaform.
