R407C is an HFC blend designed to have similar properties to R22 in air conditioning systems. R407C is suitable for residential & light air conditioning and direct expansion air conditioning systems. It is also used in medium temperature refrigeration systems.
Refrigerant Gas R404A is a colorless odorless mixture of three hydrofluorocarbon compounds in near-azeotropic proportions. Azeotropic mixtures have sharp boiling points instead of boiling over a range of temperatures, which is the case with most mixtures.
To remove chlorine from the refrigerant, manufacturers created another set of refrigerants called HFCs (or Hydro Fluro Carbons). Although they also have the potential for global warming, but still they are better than HCFCs as they do not deplete the ozone layer. The most common HFC used in air conditioners is R-410A.
R134a is also known as Tetrafluoroethane (CF3CH2F) from the family of HFC refrigerant. With the discovery of the damaging effect of CFCs and HCFCs refrigerants to the ozone layer, the HFC family of refrigerant has been widely used as their replacement.
The refrigerant known as R22 is a commonly used chlordiflouromethane found in air conditioning systems and several other refrigeration applications.R22 gas is being phased out of air conditioning.

R32 is a single component, zero ODP gas with a GWP of 550, significantly less than R410A's 1, 980. It is classified as A2, or mildly flammable, under ASHRAE classifications. Ironically, R410A is a mixture of R32 and R125 - the R125 suppressing R32's flammability.
