BMPL C/Z purlins are modern alternative for conventional MS channels/angles, used as secondary members in industrial sheds for fixing roofing and cladding sheets. They bear high strength to weight ratio.They are cold rolled from steel sheet of 550mpa tensile strength. The advantage of using these purlins is variety of depth and thickness option which gives the designer the required freedom to design most economical purlin. They are available in customised length and thickness with pre-punched holes. With the use of BMPL C/Z purlins, one can save upto 40% of steel to be used in construction as compared to conventional system of using Hot rolled purlin or Hot rolled channels, angles or tubes which have low strength to weight ratio.BMPL purlins section weight is 30-40% less as compared to hot rolled structures.
