Gum arabic:arabic gum is a natural exudate gum, also known as acacia gum is a composite mixture of polysaccharides and glycoprotein that is mainly used as stabiliser in the food industry. Arabic gum is a product of the two species of acacia trees, acacia senegal and acacia seyal.Sudan is greatest producer of arabic gum, with more than 75% of the senegalese grade supply which is the best quality. The acacia tree is found in dry regions of the country such as darfur and kordofan.
