- Metal expander roll (or Metallic segmented bow roll) are having hard chrome surface which is suitable for high speed applications for Paper industries, particularly for slitter re-winders, Calendars, Poop Reels, M.G cylinders. For high speed machines where wear & tear is common, metal expander is used in place of rubber bow roll.
- Metal is used for high-speed Paper slitter re-winders for wrinkle removing and after slitting to separate slits. For these type of Rolls having heavy weights, only paper tension itself is not sufficient to drive the Roll. Hence extra pulley is provided to drive the metal Expander Roll.
