Hot-dip galvanized (GI) flanges are a type of flange that has undergone a hot-dip galvanizing process to provide protection against corrosion. The hot-dip galvanizing process involves immersing the flange in a bath of molten zinc, which creates a metallurgical bond between the zinc coating and the flange's surface. This zinc coating acts as a sacrificial barrier, protecting the underlying steel from rust and corrosion, making it ideal for use in outdoor and corrosive environments.
The Stainless Steel Pipe Flange is used to close a pipeline in these industries. The blind flange can be permanently fixed with welding or temporarily fixed by bolting for easy maintenance and removal. These flanges come in different sizes ranging from inches to 48 inches in nominal bore size.
