Miniature Top Hat Din Rail-This 15-mm wide rail is widely used to mount mini or micro terminal blocks. This rail has 5.5mm height. The EN 50045 standard specifies 5.5mm which are officially designated micro din rail EN 50045 - 15 x 5.5.
Top Hat 7.5 Din Rail -This 35-mm wide rail is widely used to mount circuit breakers. Therefore it is also referred as MCB Channel. The EN 50022 standard specifies 7.5 mm which are officially designated top hat rail EN 50022 – 35 × 7.5.
Some manufacturers catalogs also use the terms Top hat section / Type O / Type Omega (Ω).

C Section Din Rail. These rails are symmetrical within the tolerances given. There are four popular C section rails, C20, C30, C40 and C50. The number suffix corresponds to the overall vertical length of the rail.
G Section Din Rail- This 32-mm wide rail is widely used to mount terminals. Therefore it is also known as Terminal Channel. The EN 50035 standard specifies 15mm which are officially designated G Section Rail EN 50035. Some manufacturers catalogs also use the terms G-Type / G Section Din Rail.
