PTM-Parallel Grippers are based on the rack-and-pinionprinciple like our rotating actuators. This factallows for a compact design with small dimensions and low weight while still offering a high grip force. The rack and pinion design produces an even clamping force over the whole range. The clamping jaws are absolutely centered in each position. Shortest clamping times are possible. Each base jaw is connected tightly with one rack. This creates the great advantage that the jaws are firmly guided over the whole length of the gripper. This long jaw guidance guarantees close tolerance, high precision and long life.
It is possible to work with very long clamping fingers without any problems. This advantages are enhanced in the alternative PSMU the PTM-Parallel Gripper with u-shaped jaws. Another option is the use of a spring in our Parallel Grippers, model ZFS, to secure the grip force during air pressure failure. With this it is possible to work only with one air connection. Our Multi Position Cylinders -ZMZ- offer as many as two additional stops or additional strokes, which is very important in case of space restrictions. The attachment for centering guarantees an exact exchange or a quick change position of the Parallel Gripper.

C Style/ Classic Series: C style Safety Chucks are available in both Pillow Block & Flange Mounting configuration, Suitable for lower speed applications and its very economical.
VT Style Safety Chucks: The replaceable inserts can be changed quickly and easily on the machine with minimum downtime. Any shape and size of insert can be chosen, in many different degrees of hardness in order to offer a perfect fit of the shaft and inserts. VT Safety Chucks available in both Pillow Block & Flange Mounting configuration.
Sliding Series Safety Chucks: This safety chucks are designed to be adjusted axially, allowing the roll to be aligned sideways during operation and are available as pillow block ore flange mounted chucks.
A Series Pneumatic Safety Chucks: The solution for converting an unwind stand with mechanical Safety Chucks to the speed and safety of pneumatic Safety Chucks. Remove the mechanical chuck and replace with the A series chuck. All mounting dimensions are identical.
P Series Pneumatic Safety Chucks: This safety chuck is designed for all manufacturing processes that require little or no operator presence and maximum safety. It safely holds the shaft, transmits the torque, opens and closes automatically. All switches and functions are safely integrated into the compact body of safety chuck. Sensors will indicate if the chuck is open or close and has an additional mechanical lock for unexpected electrical system failures.
