• The base of Shaper machine is well ribbed to provide stability. The column of Shaper machine is of heavy box section and has substantial internal webs. Wide front and ram slides are accurately positioned ensuring rigidity and alignment.
• The ram of Shaper Machine is of heavy cross section to resist cutting stresses.
• The tool head is graduated and may be swiveled to any angle up to 90 degree. The Cross slide has long guides, with a deep frontal bearing ensuring adequate support for the table. The verticals screw is fitted with ball thrust bearings to obtain a light and easy movement.
• The Bull wheel is cut with helical teeth to prevent chatter and ensure a smooth and even drive to the ram. A reliable stroke adjusting mechanism is provided as well.
• The drive from the motor is by multiple V-belts through a claw clutch for three different speeds.
• Automatic self acting horizontal feed mechanism is arranged to give 3 optional feeds per stroke of the ram.
• The vice is of the single screw type and has deep and wide inter changeable jaws. The swiveling base is accurately graduated.
