It is a group of lakes nestled in the foothills of gigantic Nandaghunti peak. The lakes are located in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand at an altitude of 4800m to 5400m. One has to cover a 30 Km (Approx) one side trek to reach Saptkund. The trek is a moderate to difficult trek as the route is quite steep and there are no villages in the route.
