Jacketed Reaction Vessel

We manufacture Reaction Vessel from 50 Ltrs to 20 KL in Material of construction Mild Steel, Stainless Steel SS 304 or SS 316. Construction :
  • Jacketed Reaction Vessel consist of a Cylindrical vertical shell with standard torospherical dish on both ends.
  • A jacket is provided on the Outside of the shell for Heating the reactor by passing steam or thermic Oil. or Cooling the reactor by passing cooling media. Stiffener Rings are provided on shell in between the shell and jacket to give uniform circulation of the heating or cooling media and to intensify the vessel.
  • Agitator assembly mounted on the Top dish of Reactor consists of Shaft supported by Lantern Assembly on the Top End containing Bearing Housing with Tapered roller bearing and Ball bearing to withstand impact load and vibratory load ensuring smooth rotation of the Shaft. Water cooled Stuffing box filled with gland rope pressed by Gland pusher is also provided.
  • On the other end of the shaft Blade is fitted of different types as per the need of the Process viz. Single Anchor, Double Anchor, Gate, Paddle, Flat or Curved Turbine & Propeller types. Baffles are also provided inside the shell as per the requirement.
  • Top Dish of the Reactor is provided with various Nozzles viz. Manhole, Light Glass, Sight glass, Vapour, Addition, Reflux, Thermowell etc.
  • Bottom Dish of the Reactor is provided with an Outlet nozzle where valve is fitted.
Drive : The drive is designed to give maintenance and trouble free performance. The Agitator Shaft is coupled to the Reduction Gear Box with Flexible coupling. The Reduction Gear Box is mounted on the Top of the Lantern Assembly and is driven by Motor using V belt pulley. Variator or AC drive can by used to get variable speed of the Agitator if desired. Mounting : Four lugs support are provided on the Shell of the reactor to mount it on the Platform of the Factory. Platform can also be prefabricated and assembled at site. Welding : Welding work is performed by Argon Arc process using Good Characteristic Filler rods on all S. S. Parts. M.S. Parts welding is performed by D. C Arc welding process using suitable electrodes of Advani Oerlikon make. Finish : All weld joints will be finished from inside and outside, S S. Parts is cleaned from inside and outside. Two coates of primer / redoxide will be given on M.S. parts from outside. Testing : Equipments are tested Hydraulically as per design Pressure. Function : Reaction Vessels are used in carrying out a wide variety of chemical reactions including condensation, polymerization, esterification etherifciation, hydrolysis, hydration, reduction, oxidation, hydrogenation etc. at pressures (Up to 30 Kg. / cm2) and at temperatures ranging -20oC to +250oC. Reaction needing simultaneous fractional distillation and azeotropic distillation can also be conducted very efficiently using these chemical reaction vessels. Material of Constructions : Various materials of construction, such as MS, SS304, SS 316, SS 316L, Rubber Lined etc, can be offered as per requirement.

Hydrocyclone is used to separate or sort particles in liquid with different densities of the particles and may be used to separate liquids from solids. Hydrocyclone can also be used to separate liquids of different density. B. M. Industries manufactures, exports, and supplies the best quality Hydrocyclone. Construction and Working :A Hydrocyclone has a cylindrical section at the top where liquid is being fed, and a base. The angle, and hence length of the conical section, plays a role in determining operating characteristics. It has two exits on the axis: the smaller on the bottom (underflow or reject) and a larger at the top (overflow or accept). The underflow is generally the denser or thicker fraction, while the overflow is the lighter or more fluid fraction. Internally, centrifugal force is countered by the resistance of the liquid, with the effect that larger or denser particles are transported to the wall for eventual exit at the reject side with a limited amount of liquid, while the finest, or less dense particles, remain in the liquid and exit through the overflow side through a tube extending slightly into the body of the cyclone at the center. Forward Hydrocyclone remove particles that are denser than the surrounding fluid, while reverse hydro cyclones remove particles that are less dense than the surrounding fluid. In a reverse Hydro Cyclone the overflow is at the apex and the underflow at the base.

  • Coated with more than 70 micron thick deep blue colored epoxy powder from both inside and outside surfacefor protection against corrosion and weather effects.
  • Wide 8 opening for easy pouring of stock solution.
  • Maximum working pressure 10 kg/cm (142 psi).
  • Drain port to flush the tank.
  • Available in 30, 60, 90, 120 & 160 liter (8, 16, 24, 32 & 42 US gallon) capacity.
Applications :
  • Used in fertilizer and chemical injection through drip and sprinkler irrigation system.
