This is because we offer high quality Nitriding Steel for use as raw material. Nitriding Steels are special grades low alloy surface hardened steels containing Carbon 0.3 to 0.45% and Cr-Mo as alloying elements with or without Al. These alloys when heated at about 500-525oC, in contact with cracked ammonia and nascent nitrogen diffuse into surface and form complex alloy nitrides imparting very high hardness resulting in high wear resistance and corrosion resistance besides anti spalling properties. Nitriding Steel containing Al develops hardness up to 1100 HV.
