The CAN 300 PRO module of Systeme Helmholz GmbH used in Siemens S7-3001 allows the CAN station to be connected to a programmable controller. The module can be inserted into the central controller or expansion unit. The CAN 300 PRO module supports CAN 2.0A (11-bit) and CAN 2.0B (29-bit) frames, and the baud rate can be freely selected, ranging from 10 kbps to 1 Mbps. The CAN 300 PRO module can send and receive CAN frames in layer 2 operation mode. The CANopen slave data can be processed as a process image in the PLC's CANopen master operation mode. can also be used as a CANopen slave application. Provides application examples for standard applications, including motor control using CANopen. Also provides data processing module for SAE J1939 protocol. CAN 300 PRO module contains 16 freely settable timers. Each timer can trigger a freely programmable CAN message. In this way, the CAN 300 PRO module can be used to easily realize the common synchronization protocol in the drive and servo system.
