Hydroquinone is a phenol derivative with antioxidant properties. It is a white needle-like crystal or crystalline powder. Hydroquinone is mainly used in manufacturing of downstream food grade antioxidants like tbhq & bha. Hydroquinone is also used as additives in manufacturing of acrylic acid & methyl methacrylate. Hydroquinone is used in photo processing & in cosmetic formulations used to lighten the dark skin. It is also used in rubber chemicals, dyes & pigments and specialty polymer manufacturing.

Tbc is off-white to amber colored solid or flakes with phenolic odor. It is available in liquid form in different solvents like water, methanol, toluene etc. Tbc is mainly used as polymerization inhibitor or stabilizer for monomers such as butadiene, styrene, isoprene etc.
