A heavy steel fork of about 60 vibrations per second is mounted on a heavy cast iron base. The electromagnet is adjustable so that the amplitude of vibration may be varied between wide limits. Complete with mirror for Lissajous figures experiments.
The ventilated type of hygrometer gives greater accuracy for humidity determinations and is particularly useful for measuring local differences in humidity.
