Empty Container Handler 6 Ton

Our empty container handlers (ECT) deliver market-leading strength and stability to ensure precise yet straightforward positioning of containers. Every single element, the lifting mast, chassis and side spreader is designed for maximum strength and stability. ECT can handle 20and 40 containers stacking 3 High at fast operating speed increasing productivity.

Chassis
  • Monocoque type with integral hydraulic and fuel tanks
  • Designed for strength maximum torsional rigidity and long term reliability

Spreader
  • Side lifting telescopic spreader to handle both 20' and 40' ISO empty and refer containers
  • Integrally mounted to the mast and having an in built capacity of +/- 250mm side shift
  • The spreader capacity is 6000 Kg

Drive Axle
  • Heavy dutyaxles
  • Axle rigidly mounted to chassis

Mast
  • The heavy duty mast is constructed from high tensile plates with heavy section wrap around cross ties positioned for optimum strength and visibility
  • Lift cylinders are positioned on either side of the mast offering clear view to operator

Hydraulics
  • Heavy duty tandemvane pumps driven by transmission power take-off
  • Integral pressure relief valve presents system overload
