Cladding Materials And Building Panels

We are leaders in the market for providing best range of Calcium Silicate Board and Gypsum Boards

Calcium Silicate Board

Hilux Calcium Silicate Board is made of calcareous and siliceous materials, reinforced with fibres. It is cured under high steam pressure and temperature to provide a stable, strong crystalline structure.

Water Resistance

Hilux boards are also highly water resistant and maintain their strength under conditions that other boards would not be able to withstand. When Hilux boards are immersed in water for 24 hours, they might lose their strength slightly but they regain their full strength as soon as they are dried. Placing the boards in water has no long-term effect on the board or on most of the decorated surfaces, hence they can be used in high humid areas or in places where there is a risk of water accidentally coming in contact with the board.

Termite Resistance

Another advantage of Hilux Calcium Silicate boards is that they are termite resistant as well. Unlike other building materials, like Gypsum plaster- based boards and Plywood wood-based products, Hilux boards are highly resistant to termites and attacks from other vermin. This is because it is made of inorganic minerals and has stable crystalline structure, owing to use of minerals in the surface structure of the boards. In addition to this, the boards do not contribute to fungus growth and also have anti-bacterial properties

Light Weight

Hilux boards are light in weight therefore can be handled easily. Its dry density is 850-950 Kg/m3.

Strength & Durability

The stable crystalline structure makes the boards strong and durable. The boards are strong enough to take normal impacts. They do not degrade or deteriorate physically.

Flexibility

Hilux boards are also very flexible in design terms. A 6mm thick Hilux board can be bent (minimum radius-600mm) to provide curved surfaces. Boards will bend more easily, if bent across their long axis when they are wet or saturated.

Decoration

Hilux boards are also highly water resistant and maintain their strength under conditions that other boards would not be able to withstand. When Hilux boards are immersed in water for 24 hours, they might lose their strength slightly but they regain their full strength as soon as they are dried. Placing the boards in water has no long-term effect on the board or on most of the decorated surfaces, hence they can be used in high humid areas or in places where there is a risk of water accidentally coming in contact with the board.

Easy Workability

Calcium Silicate boards are very easy to work with as they can be cut and drilled with ordinary carpenter's tools and can also be sanded with conventional papers.

Gypsum Boards

Characteristics

Gypboard plain plasterboard is a standard gypsum board consisting of an aerated gypsum core encased in and firmly bonded to, strong paper liners.

Gyproc fireline consists of an aerated gypsum core with glass fibre and other additives encased in and firmly bonded to, strong paper liners that are pink.

Gyproc moisture resistant consists of an aerated gypsum core with special water repellent additives encased in and firmly bonded to, strong moisture-resistant paper liners that are green.

Gyproc duraline is a gypsum plasterboard with a higher density core and glass fibres. It is designed for use in drywall partition systems to give greater impact resistance in heavy use areas.

Application

Suitable for use in most system applications where normal fire, structural and acoustic levels are specified. The product is ideal for false ceilings.
