Double girder cranes give a better height of lift in a given headroom as the hook travels between the beams. They are available in higher capacities than single girder and for heavy duty applications they can be supplied with open winch hoists.

Normally double girder cranes have 25 tonnes capacity and also in higher capacities. One simple advantage of the double girder design is the possibility to fit a walkway to the crane which gives maintenance access to many critical parts of the crane and often to overhead lighting etc.

Double-girder overhead travelling cranes offer you exceptional load capacity for a low deadweight. They are also characterised by their outstanding crane geometry, ensuring extremely favourable travel characteristics and therefore minimising wear. The particularly large lifting height is derived from the fact that the load hook can be raised between the two crane girders. Optional maintenance platforms and accessible crabs not only make it easier for you to maintain the crane, but also ensure that your hall fittings such as lamps, heating elements or supply lines can be quickly and easily reached.

The Instructions given here for the assembly, wiring, testing andcommissioning of the Crane should be carefully followed as good installation willensure years of satisfactory and trouble free operation.Check up the cases, crates etc. forming the consignment. Open each case carefully and checkup the contents as per the packing list. Any shortage or breakage should be reportedimmediately so that proper claims could be lodged with the Insurance Co. In case theconsignment has been insured by you, this claim should be lodged by you directly withintimation to us.
