GEAKTIV is essentially a concentrated humus fertiliser, made with aerobic fermentation of organic mass. In this case chicken litter and grape remains (pomace). Because of its ingredients, it cannot be observed as a fertiliser only, since it not only introduces essential nutritive elements in to the soil but :

It is possible to mix with GEAKTIV every kind of mineral fertiliser in the quantity up to 15%. GEAKTIV is auto-pasteurized, without pathogen microorganisms and other seeds. After spreading GEAKTIV on the soil it must not be left to dry, but it must be mixed into the upper layer of the soil. Because of its fertilising abilities, it�s not allowed to put GEAKTIV directly in contact with roots. It can be use directly with tubers and legumes.

GEAKTIV stimulate the decomposition of organic matter into humus through micro organisms. Revitalizes exhausted and poor soil. GEAKTIV is an ideal means for the construction of stable mild humus in soil (the stock of nitrogen and organic carbon) which consequently improves the physical structure of the ground i.e. ventilation, moisture (maintains water regime). It also makes washing out and the erosion of land impossible.

This organic fertilizer is needed especially where only mineral fertilizers have been used and on irrigated areas (greenhouses, potted plants), as well as where erosion is a problem. Exammple: Christmas wheat was planted in a mixture of 50% desert sand and 50% plain GeAktiv®
