This exquisite piece is a nineteenth century French Versailles inspired hand carved Teakwood fire place surround. The fire place is detailed with twine design ending in a curved channel base and a simple two line border rope friezes. Flowing Rococo lines, inspired French examples, are in marked contrast to the regularity of Neo-classical designs
