Voacanga Seeds, also called kokiyar, pete-pete, kirongasi, ako dodo, ou, rungu. Voacanga (voacanga Africana), is a tropical tree, native to West Africa, that grows up to 30 feet tall. It has leaves that are up to 30 cm in length, and the tree produces yellow or white flowers, which become berries with dark brown seeds. The numerous dark brown seeds of the fruit are embedded in the pulp. This plant is used by the Diola of Africa against infectious diseases. It has also been reported to have been used to treat mental disorders and as an analgesic.
