Product Description Everflon FEPD50 is an off-white aqueous fluorinated-ethylene-propylene (FEP) dispersion stabilized with a non-ionic surfactant. It is a general-purpose dispersion that can be used to impart some the unique properties of FEP to end products that would be difficult to make using traditional melt extrusion processes. It can be used to coat or impregnate porous structures, or to make thin films. It can be coated and melt bonded to polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) resin or used as a hot melt adhesive.The FEP resin in Everflon FEPD50 is a melt flowable thermoplastic, providing superior properties typical of fluoroplastic resins: retention of properties after service at 204 C (400 F) and useful properties at -240 C (-400 F). Ethylene tetrafluoroethylene (ETFE) is a thermoplastic copolymer derived from the polymerization of ethylene and tetrafluoroethylene monomers. These materials are extremely tough and abrasion-resistant having excellent chemical resistance and continuous operating temperatures up to 150C (300F). ETFE is also an excellent electrical insulator and has good nonstick and low-friction properties. The Everflon ETFE JP40 coatings listed above represent a new, improved formulation of ETFE resins. All of the ETFE coatings listed above are now suitable for food contact end uses. Using appropriate product combinations. coating systems are now available for use in a wide variety of applications ranging from thin-film systems (75- 250 m [3-10 mill) for service involving abrasion resistance or mild chemical service. to thick-film systems (up to 1300 m 150 mill) for linings where excellent chemical protection is required.

EverflonV201 is a crystalline high molecular weight powder form of polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) specifically designed for solvent-based coatings to provide improved gloss. It forms mechanically strong and tough films that have a broad useful temperature range. These films are highly resistant to most environmental conditions including gamma radiation and are essentially transparent to ultraviolet radiation.The weathering characteristics of EverflonV201coatings lead to excellent performance for the long term. Everflon V201 is available only via a licensing program that specifies the composition of Everflon V201 coatings. A properly formulated finish contains sufficient pigment to make the film totally opaque to ultraviolet radiation at the nominal one mil (0.001 inch) film thickness suggested.
