Honeycomb composites should be good candidates for rail vehicle components and assemblies with its light weight performance.Aluminum honeycomb core is made of aluminum foil with joint glue especially used for aluminum honeycomb core. The performance of the aluminum honeycomb core is affected by aluminum foil, joint glue and the specification of the core.1. Alumimium foilit adopts aluminum foil with the specification code of 30035052h18 which have been strictly surface treated. While processing products with high strength and long duration requirement, it shall use 1100 pure aluminum foil with caution to produce core material.2. Joint glueglue should be modified high temperature solidification epoxy glue which can not only provide sufficient bonding strength, but also environmental resistance and high or low temperature resistance properties. The joint strength of aluminum honeycomb core is the mainstay of evaluating its performance which should be more than 2.0nmm.
