As soon as TOPDRY desiccant absorb moisture vapor form the surrounding air will turn to a thick solid geling material and trapped in the TOPDRY Desiccant double package material eliminate any leakage problem. Besides with the powerful moisture absorption capacity, TOPDRY desiccants working temperature range from -20C to +100C, suitable for cargo moisture protection in shipping container. We dont recommend silica gel desiccant for cargo with higher moisture content or storaged in shipping container moisture protection. As silica gel desiccant with lower moisture absorption capacity, can absorb less than 10% moisture of its own weight for less than 14 days will stopping absorbing moisture. Whats worse, if the temperature rise over 40 celsius degree, the already absorbed moisture by silica gel desiccant will start to evaporate to the air.
