Welcome to Rizhao Garnet Ltd.
CN Garnet waterjet cutting abrasives are extensively used in all renowned waterjet cutting machines around the world. Using the world’s best processing methods not only provides the highest purity garnet and highly accurate sizing of grains but ensures that there is no dust or ineffective fine grains to restrict garnet free flow with no oversize grains to block focusing tubes. A steady flow of garnet abrasives to the focusing tube that is free from blockages allows uninterrupted production without downtime resulting in optimum efficiency and lowest production costs. In addition, our crushed almandine rock garnet keeps more angular and sharper edges and increases the cutting speed significantly. Applications CNTM Garnet Waterjet cutting abrasives’ grades are available to meet all of your specific project requirements. It is ideally suited for all applications including: ● Aluminium ● Granite ● FRP / CRP ● Carbon Steel ● Marble ● Glass ● Copper ● Rubber ● Stainless Steel ● Wood ● Titanium Optimum Setup CN Garnet offers a choice of grades to match any focusing tube and orifice for any given cutting application. CN Garnet 80 Mesh: The most popular waterjet cutting abrasive grade used worldwide delivers the optimum balance of cutting speed and precision edge. CN Garnet 50 or 60 Mesh: Suitable for high speed waterjet cutting, it can in some cases deliver up to a 30% increase in cutting speed but at the expense of a reduced precision edge. CN Garnet 120 Mesh: For high precision and minimum tolerance edge waterjet cutting requirements. The table states the correct combinations of CN Garnet grades, focusing tube and orifice dimensions to suit your particular waterjet cutting requirements. CN Garnet Sand – Water Filtration Media General: Garnet is a naturally occuring mineral (Almandine) with very uniform physical chemical and micro-structural properties. There are no free elements, all oxides are combined chemically as an iron rich aliminosilicate. Grain Shape: Blocky, angular, irregular, conchoidal Characteristics: Specific gravity: 4.10 Bulk Density: 2.10 tonne/m3 (finest to coarsest). Hardness: 7.5 - 8 Moh. Acid Solubility: Insoluble. Grades Available: The most common sizes used in Water Filtration are 0.3 / 0.6mm and 1.4 / 2.36mm. Quality Control: However, almost any size between 0.1 and 3.00mm can be made for customer’s specific requirements Garnets are available that are certified for use in potable water systems. These special garnets do not release any toxic substances into the water supply. High Specific Gravity gives more control during critical backwash operations, less media is lost to the overflow tanks. Angular, grains yield more pore space than rounded grains. This gives improves the ability to clean the water and lengthens filter runs Garnet is a naturally hard, durable mineral so its breakdown rate is very small.
