Colourtech Polyester Pigments are used for coloring Fiberglass Reinforced Plastics (FRP). These pigments are superior quality, stable pigment concentrates formulated with a high loading of dry organicinorganic pigment powders in an unsaturated non- styrenated polyester resin. The pigment dispersions are free from plasticizers. The base resin is manufactured in-house. This carrier resin combines chemically with the moulding grade of commercial resins during curing. They exhibit high gloss, have good dispersion properties and also give excellent coverage in the moulded product.

Colourtech Epoxy Pigments  are stable dispersions of dry organic/ inorganic pigment powders in a saturated polymeric plasticizer. They are used for coloring epoxy resins/hardner systems for all epoxy based applications. Epoxies are known for their excellent adhesion, heat resistance, chemical resistance, excellent mechanical properties, and very good electrical insulating properties. Properties of the pigment   The base pigments are selected based on properties such as: Light Fastness Heat Resistance U.V. Resistance Outdoor durability Chemical Resistance Electrical Properties Coverage Properties Stability Uniform dispersion Pigment usage   Colourtech Epoxy Pigments can be used at 5-10% based on the weight of the resin. Small quantities of pigments can be mixed easily by hand stirring. However for large quantities of pigments, power mixing is essential. As a general rule the epoxy resin should be added to the pigment, with simultaneous stirring. Note that the hardener should be added to the pigmented epoxy at the actual time of use, according to the instructions of the epoxy resin system manufacturer. In addition, pigment colors are matched to BS, IS and RAL shades other than special shades as per customer's requirements. Epoxy floorings provide greater strength and durability with a dust free cleaner environment. Coatings for chemical holding vessels, gas storage vessels, pipes and other surfaces, laminates boards, non skid floors.

Colourtech Polyurethane (PU) Pigments  are high quality dispersions of organic and inorganic pigments for use in the manufacture of PU products such as flexible slab-stock foam, semi flexible foams of various densities, Integral Skin, Rigid Foams and shoe soles. Colourtech Polyurethane (PU) Pigments  are are specialised formulations and are available in both Polyether as well as Polyester Polyols of various molecular weights and colours such as Yellow, Blue, Green, Orange, Red, White, Violet and Black. Customised colours are available subject to minimum order quantities.
