While having the decorative curtain drapery rods, it should be kept in mind that the decorative drapery curtain pole should rest properly on the curtain bracket and tightened by screws,
other thing which is important is to check the strength of decorative drapery rod as it takes the full load of curtain and may not bulk due to the weight of the drapery.
If the length of the portion where curtains are to be hanged is long, then it is best to have curtain brackets in-between to distribute the load of drapery on brackets.
If the width of the window is less and if long decorative curtain rods is used, then it will make the window looks wider.
