De-Bakey Surgical is a manufacturer of stainless steel single use surgical instruments designed for use in single use theater packs.
• Mission Statement
To manufacture high quality single use surgical instruments using innovative and semi-automated manufacturing techniques. We aim to make our instruments satisfy the most stringent of quality control tests and also produce instruments that are desirable from a cost perspective for our customers. We strive to maintain our reputation as the leading single use surgical instruments manufacturer in the world.
• In House Production
Surgical instruments traditionally are sourced from vendors and then processed to finish the raw material. What differentiates us from the majority of manufacturers is that we are genuinely the manufacturer. Our hammer shop currently houses 12 drop forge hammers used to create our forging. We then control the remaining processes until the product is finally packed into a box ready to ship to the customer.

• Quality Control
As well as our audits we carry out internal auditing to ensure our quality control procedures are being adhered to. All our instruments as part of our technical files will have high quality CAD drawing and material specification sheets which are sent to the customer to complete their technical file.
• Ethical Practice
De-Bakey Surgical is strictly against child labor and is audited and certified to reassure our customers. Work hours are within the guidelines set by the government for adults and our facilities provide adequate ventilation, lighting and comfort for the working staff….
