Perforated barrels are immersed in the plating solution. Open ended solid barrels in which the solution, the anode and the work are contained inside the barrel.

By the barrelling media-eleaving, descaling, deburring, cutting, scouring, grinding, polishing or burnishing can be applied to material to such as cast iron, malleable iron, steel forgings.
The process of polishing or burnishing depends upon the shope of articles and the nature and hardness of material of which they are made.
Horizontal Barrels are obtainable inwood, steelor inrubber lined steel. The rotation of the barrel ensures good mixing of the components and media, resulting n quality polishing and finishing.
