"Delta" have introduced new precision, compact & economic electrical testing. Module for small appliances/ motors, etc. It has built- in 2A variac with Delta"s innovative V- A- W Meter of ratings 250V/ 2.000A/ 200.0W (OR 500 W optional).
Mains frequency meter is provided especially for appliances like fans and also testing of magnetic ballasts. Specially designed overload protection MCB is an integral part of the Module. True- RMS version of the Module is also available for testing the input parameters of electronic ballasts.

EARTHING RESISTANCE COMPLIANCE TEST PANEL

" Delta" makes Earthing Compliance Test Panel for various appliances. This panel has high output impedance, adjustable current source 0 -30.0 A @ 6 V max. By measuring the mV-drop between earthing terminal of the plug & accessible metal part of the appliance body , earthing resistance has to be measured. Current to be passed depends on the standards specified for that appliance & the resistance has to be less than specified milliohms.

"Delta" H.V. Flash Tester are made heavy duty, keeping in mind long term reliability.Rating are 0 - 5 kV @ 100 mA. Trip current settings can be provided as 25 mA - 50 mA - 75 mA - 100 mA OR 10 mA - 25 mA - 50mA- 75 mA. As an option, a timer can be provided to test an object for a preset time. Most of the capacitors used in the lighting industry are hand made, esp. the metallization of electrodes . The qualitiy of these capacitors change from batch to batch." Delta" has developed a test panel with high discharge currents (up to 10 kA pulse) to test the capacitors samples cyclically for a specified duration. If during this test, any capacitor short-circuits; a lamp- inside the panel will light up. After the test capacitors have to be tested for their impedance by passing the current at rated voltage This is a destructive test; all the capacitors tested on this panel have to be destroyed afterwards & not to be used.
