Molecular Sieves

Molecular Sieves is an alumino silicate that has pore opening of about 4 Angstroms (0.4 micron) and typical chemical formula Na2O Al2 O 2SiO2 - nH2O. Our Molecular Sieves is available in two forms that are beads and pallets. Molecular Sieves is widely applied in dehydrating most of the fluids available in both static and dynamic conditions.

Applications :

  • Molsieve 4A Can be used to dehydrate most fluids both in static and dynamic Conditions
  • Static applications include usage in desicant packages and for drying in insulating glass nits. Used for drying of refrigerant fluids used for drying of air Brakes.
  • Dynamic applications include drying and purification of Natural gas, LPG, air, inter gases and Solvents.



Even Molsieve 4A work under adverse operating Conditions like :

  • Drying gases to very low dew points;
  • Drying low relative humudity gases;
  • Drying high temparture gases;
  • Drying high velocity gases;
  • Drying gas mixture etc.
  • Drying gases and removing other impurities simultaneously;
  • Any combination of these conditions.


Regeneration :MOLSIEVE 4A can be regenerated by evacuating or purging usually at elevated temperature. The purge gas temprature must be sufficiently high to bring the molecular sieve to a level of 200 C to 300 C but not exceeding 600 Degree C, Higher temperature may cause physical degradation of molecular structure. The degree of regeneration depends on the temperature, pressure and composition of the purge gas and is a strong factor in affecting product purity. It is possible to dry fluids to less than 0:1 ppm total sulphur and CO2 if adequately regenerated.

Packaging :
For Domestic and Exports : MOLSIEVE 4A is available in beads and pellets form both 1.5 mm and 3 mm diameters packed in 50/100 kgs M.S. Drum.
