Zorb-it desiccants are specially formulated dehumidifiers to control the relative humidity in the enclosed packaging system where damp environments can cause problems. The issues caused by excessive moisture can be corrosion in metallic and automotive components during storage and exports, corrosion issues in machinery and process equipment during exports, fungal developments in textiles and garments, circuitry issues in electronic goods, mold development in leather goods, dampness in pharmaceutical products and tamishing of brass, copper and silver. Zorbit Clay is tested to perform and exceed DIN 55474 and MIL PRF 3464 E .
Zorb-it clays are made from natural minerals that absorb moisture to upto 170./0 its own weight. These are activated granules or powder that adsorb moisture and are safe to be put near almost every commodity.
