Cross Flow Plate Heat Exchanger

The functionality of a cross flow plate heat exchanger is to exchange or transfer thermal energy among the airstreams in air-conditioning unit. It is generally utilized in ventilation or cooling system, where heat need to transferred from one airstream to another.

It contains thin metal panel generally aluminum in which the energy is exchanged through panels. It doesnt allow humidity to enter in airstream, hence avoids the risk of short-circuiting.
