1 3 Dibromopropane is a halogenated carbon and at room temperature it is a colorless to light-brown liquid. Chemically, it is a useful compound which is used to form C3-bridged compounds through C-N coupling reactions. This chemical can be prepared through free radical addition by combining allyl bromide and hydrogen bromide.
