Leaves are a natural soil builder, Leaf Compost OR Leaf moldis made by decomposing the organic waste mainly the dried leaves and kitchen waste into humus. Leaf compost is considered far superior to compost as a soil conditioner, it nourishes plants, preserves moisture in the soil, helps spread fertilizer, facilitates weeding, attracts worms and helps prevent diseases. Mature compost is a stable material produced by the decomposition of organic wastes i.e. leaves, vegetables, fruit, plants, weeds, stems, twigs, bugs, animals, microbes, etc. Leaf compost is an excellent soil enhancer for most soil types. Most leaves are rich in potassium and micronutrients. These nutrients can be returned to the soil and eventually your plants if the leaves are used as compost.
Cattle dung compost is made by composting the cattle dung mainly the cow & buffalo dung.it is rich in nitrogen, organic matter and a variety of minerals, adding nutrition and tilth to the soil. Its generally considered to be one of the best amendments you can add to your garden adding structure and increasing aeration in the soil increases water holding capacity, increases CEC and reduces erosion. It breaks down and gives off nutrients fairly slowly. It is a good source of beneficial bacteria, because of the complex bovine digestive system. It helps the growth of Earthworms present in the soil when it is combined with cow manure. It provides both available and slow-release N, P, K and micro-nutrients to crops.
