TRASCO couplings type GRB are manufactured in cast iron GG25. They combine thetypical high performances of standard couplings with the mounting and dismountingadvantages offered by the SER-SIT taper bush:- they are ready to be mounted;- they are manufactured in two different executions: B1 and B2they solve the problem of fretting corrosion;hubs type B1 may be axially moved for spider replacement;they may be used in all types of machinery.

This series allows to join two shafts (even very distant) through two TRASCOcouplings and an intermediate shaft (length Lw) of customized dimension.The presenceof two polyurethane rings allows high damping capability and large radial misalignments.Hubs are classically made from cast-iron, while shafts are from steel; though, differentmaterials can be used, accordingly to different application.

It allows compensation of high axial, radial, angular misalignment. Moreover, the use ofthe double spider allows for double the torsion angle and provide very high dampingeffect.

This execution has been introduced to incorporate advantages offered by the SIT-LOCK locking elements in the shaft-hub connection .The system allows for a quick, safe and backlash free mounting without the use of keyway and eliminating the need forlock washers, spacers and stop rings. Many different solutions may be created to solveall kinds of application needs. We include hereunder a very useful example.In fact, thesame hub bore allows the fitting of different shaft diameters.

This series allows to join two shafts (even too spaced) through two TRASCOcouplings and an intermediate shaft (length LR2) of customized dimension, fixed withhubs through shrink-disc. The presence of two polyurethane elements allows highdamping capability and large radial misalignments.Hubs are classically made of cast-iron, while shafts are made of steel; though, different materials can be used, accordingly todifferent application.

This type of coupling provides excellent kinetic uniformity. Furthermore, the absence of keys or grubscrews, makes it a very well balanced coupling and greatly facilitates installation and removal. An exact radial axial positioning is very easy for those applications which requires it. The absence of keyways also avoids fretting corrosion and backlash between the shaft and the hub. This is the ideal type of coupling for applications requiring precision andor high rotational speeds.

This execution allows higher misalignements.The 2 spiders allow a very hihgh vibrationdampening providing a deacrese in drive noise and a longer life of related components (exbearings).The intermediate element is made of aluminum alloy and mey be used incombination with any type of hub execution.

This zero backlash execution, allows to connect long distance shafts in applications suchas lifting screwjacks, gantry robot etc.The intermediate shaft is made of steel but may beof different material for specific need.The presence of 2 spiders, increases the dampeningproperties and allow high misalignements

STCF A-B-C range conforms to AGMA specifiations with regard to flange dimensions, type, and positions of the screws. They are interchangeable with any coupling half.

The series with flanges has been developed for applications on heavy machinery and tocombine different shafts and flanges solutions. Shaft-shaft: using two hubs type BF, allows the replacement of the elastic element without traversing of either motor-machineor driven-machine. Shaft-flange: using one hub type CF and one type GR. Flange-Flange: using two hubs type CF.

This series has been developed to suit drum-brake (FRT) transmissions. It is constituted as a elastic coupling screwed to the brake band. Components are either madeof cast-iron (G25), spheroidal cast-iron (GS400) or steel, accordingly to application. Also, assembling of different dimensioned brake bands to any kind of coupling is allowed: see below tables

In the base execution, GR TRASCO couplings are available in two different versions:precision P or economy S. The difference between P and S type hubs is that inthe precision execution the circular sections of the hubs are precision machined, while inthe economy execution they are simply deburred. The S version allows lower axialdisplacement as indicated in the technical performance table. Hubs are available in castiron GG25, die cast aluminium alloy or forged aluminium. On special request hubs areavailable in steel or cast iron GGG40.TRASCO couplings are dimensionallymanufactured to hub types A , B and "L" (long hub execution).

Standard version with double disc pack and standard length spacer. Double disc pack execution with anti-fail device. Various spacer lengths available for pump applications.Conforms to API610 - API671.

This type of coupling permits quick, sure fixing without any shaft-hub backlash. With the keyless coupling type, the torque applied for tightening down the screws (Ms) must be as given in the catalogue. The M coupling type is available with or without keyway.

The hubs of the standard coupling type can be either solid or have a finished bore, thediameter of which corresponds to any one of the standard shaft diameters. Thegrubscrew(s) is (are) located 180 or 120 from the key seat. Both the solid hub andbored hub coupling are generally available from stock for quick delivery.
