Hand painting on sarees is our specialty and we not only provide employment but also training to women from poor and lower-middle-class families. This saree is made of Kerala cotton, which is typically undyed cotton fabrics with color or kasavu (gold zari) borders and a kasavu stripe on the pallu.

Hand painting on sarees is our specialty and we not only provide employment but also training to women from poor and lower-middle-class families. This saree is a mix of Tussar and Pure cotton with one thread strip of each one after other. Tussar silk sarees are also known by the Sanskrit name, Kosa silk sarees. They are made from silk that is produced from silkworms that breed on wild forest trees, not mulberry trees. Tussar silk sarees are delicate and need to be dry cleaned only. Store them in muslin bags to allow the fabric to breathe.

Batik print on sarees is our specialty and we not only provide employment but also training to women from poor and lower-middle-class families. We do the batik design by selecting areas of the cloth which are blocked out by brushing or drawing hot wax over them, and the cloth is then dyed. The parts covered in wax resist the dye and remain the original color.

Tant saree is a traditional Bengali saree Soft, light and very comfortable to drape, these sarees are characterized by a broad border, a decorative pallav and are woven with a variety of floral and paisley motifs.
The craftsmen deftly weave the cotton to the thread which is woven to tant saree. Two shuttles are used for this purpose. Traditionally, handlooms were used by the weavers, which have today been largely replaced by power looms to weave these sarees.
