As it has no harmful chemicals used in the process of chemical dying, Raw Khadi is ideal for many different uses such as sheets and blankets/wraps for babies, baby apparel etc. Similarly, as it is available in different weights (GSM). You can use it in variety of apparel and accessories like kitchen napkins, aprons, place mats, table runners etc. It is also ideally suited as a background fabric for embroidery.

The Indigo (blue) dye is obtained from indigo plant (Indigofera tinctoria), a leguminous plant native to India.
In organic Khadi, the fabric comes from the non-genetically modified (non GM) old world cotton which has short to medium staple length. This variety of cotton is grown under rain-fed cultivation where the entire crop cycle is completed without or with very little irrigation.
