ABOUT PRODUCT
- Yellow sticky traps are a common method for monitoring many insects, but it has not been shown whether they could be used as a control method. In this study the impact of yellow sticky traps on the population dynamics of the whitefly, determined in the greenhouse and field. In the greenhouse, yellow sticky traps significantly suppressed the population increase of adult and immature whiteflies. The whitefly densities in the greenhouse with traps were significantly lower than the greenhouse without traps.
