Oil refineries, Petrochemical Plants and chemical plants have extensive requirements of heat exchangers for heating, cooling, condensation and heat recovery. Due to accute shortage of water, many of these heat exchangers are of air cooled type. As water crisis is getting worse day by day, need for air cooled heat exchangers is growing. Air fin coolers shown in the picture are used to cool Naptha and LCO in refineries.
Windmills have requirements of large heat duty oil coolers. As they are fitted in remote locations and difficult to service, they have to reliable with regards to performance over long periods of time. Fin Fan Cooler has been designed and fabricated using the guidelines from API 661 and ASME Section VIII Div 1. The MOC for tube bundle assembly SS 304 L and for structure carbon steel. Air cooled heat exchanger type is forced draft exchanger.
