In our Reverse Osmosis Plant, the method of Reverse osmosis (RO) is used for purifying water for industrial processes and human consumption. RO can remove mineral salts and contaminants such as bacteria and pesticides. Advances in water treatment technologies have enhanced and complemented the conventional RO process, reducing energy and water consumption, lowering capital and operating costs, and producing purer water with our Reverse Osmosis Plant.
 
Reverse osmosis separation technology is used to remove dissolved impurities from water with a semi-permeable membrane. RO technology involves the reversal of flow through a membrane from a high salinity, or concentrated solution to the high purity, or "permeate", stream on the opposite side of the membrane. Pressure is used as the driving force for the separation. The applied pressure (P) must be in excess of the osmotic pressure of the dissolved contaminants to allow flow across the membrane.
 
Reverse osmosis (RO), also known as hyper filtration, is used by our Commercial & Industrial Brackish Water & Seawater Reverse Osmosis Systems to purify water by removing salts and other impurities. Our Reverse Osmosis Plant is also capable of rejecting bacteria, sugars, proteins, particles, dyes, and other constituents that have a molecular weight of greater than 150-250 daltons.

Water Ultrafiltration Plant

Operation :
Ultrafiltration Plant works on the principle of Ultra Filtration, which is most reliable and economical solution for the removal of impurities such as bacteria, heavy metals and suspended solids. Substances smaller than the particle size of the membrane are passed while large solutes or particles are rejected. The typical molecular weight cut off (M.W.C.O.) of Ultra Filtration membranes ranges from 1, 000 to 1, 00, 000 daltons. Because of its larger pore size, it does not reject dissolved salts but removes colloidal solids such as silica, iron and some T.O.C. contaminants. UF Membranes also have a wide range of pH and temperature tolerance and are easily backwash able, to avoid membrane fouling.

Hollow Fiber Ultra filtration Technology is used in a wide variety of production applications including :

  • Removal of colloidal silica from water, etc.
  • Chemical processing and electrode position paint recovery
  • Water and waste treatment
