The ERWEKA DT 1610 series offers advanced intelligence and features for stand-alone operation or for control of complete dissolution offline sampling system. It allows storage of up to 60 product test-run parameters.
Disintegration testers of the ZT 220 series are available with 1, 2, 3 or 4 simultaneously driven USPPharm.Eur.JP compliant basket rack assemblies. The units come with a quality integrated flow-through heating system, moulded one-piece PET water bath and water bath cover as standard.
ERWEKA DT 820 series offers advanced intelligence and features for stand-alone operation or for control of complete dissolution offline sampling system. It allows storage of up to 60 product test-run parameters.
It offers the possibility for one test with 121314 tablets or two tests with 67 tablets. The advantage is that two USP tests can be carried out with one bath at equal test conditions. Various Vessel capacities (400 ml, 1000 ml, 2000 ml) are available as well as High-Head- (maximum access) or Low-Head (low-evaporation version; for automation) design are available up to customers specification.
The TBH 325 is the ERWEKA hardness- or combination tester with integrated product memory for up to 50 products . Its robust design can be easily used in production environments.
The ERWEKA ZT 720 series automatically determines the disintegration time of each sample by use of a unique system of magnets and sensors. It also tests whether or not a sample completely disintegrates.
ERWEKA friability tester type GTA 120 designed for any form of tablets, granules and pellets according to the Pharm. Eur. Excellent reproducibility is possible due to the precise constancy of the input energy and due to the irrelevance of the tackiness of the test material inside the glass bottle (test station).
The GTL is handled by numeric membrane keys, results are shown at the illuminated 4-line LC display. As standard the unit is delivered with a stainless steel hopper (200 ml) and three stainless steel outlet nozzles (10.0; 15.0; 25.0 mm) which can be exchanged by a quick coupling. Additional stainless steel hoppers (100; 480 ml) and outlet nozzles (6.0; 8.0; 11.3 mm) are available as option.
The TAR series is a USP Pharm.Eur. JP compliant ERWEKA unit for testing friability andor abrasion. Programming is easily performed by the symbol style keypad. The rotation speed can be programmed between 20 and 100 rpm and test run duration can be set in either time or total number of revolutions.
ERWEKA DT 720-series has been designed in accordance with USPEPJP requirements for testing tablet and other dosage forms. It combines state-of-the-art with excellent and userfriendly design. The High-Head and Low-Head operating modes offer highest flexibility.
The TBH 125 is the ERWEKA basic dual-mode tablet hardness tester offering accuracy, robust design and basic functions. The TBH 125 is operated via a symbol keypad which allows entering the number of samples required for testing.
The TBH 425 is tablet hardness and combination testers for automatic measurement of up to 10 samples. The samples are inserted in a star-shaped feeder which automatically transports the samples to the test station.
The suppository hardness tester, type SBT 2 consists of an electrically heated chamber containing a sample holder with a number of interchangeable plastic inserts to accept various sized suppositories. Once up to temperature, the hardness is checked by weights (included in the standard delivery range) which are added until the suppository collapses.
The manual ERWEKA SMG 697 and SMG 53466 is the unit for the reproducible determination of apparent (bulk) density which can be used with all free flowing powders or granule. According to DIN ISO 697 and DIN 53 466, the apparent density is determined by measuring the mass of powder in a receiver of known dimension after filling from a funnel of a specified shape under specified conditions.
On the GT a special balance, which can measure stable weight while the sample is falling onto it, is integrated into the unit to determine the flow time of a sample weight or pre-specified sample volume, as well as sample weight, which falls within a specified flow time.
