LTC (Leak Tester Control) instruments are dedicated to check the efficiency of the equipment used for leak testing. Besides the use as pressure calibrators to check and certify the measures of the equipment they can be also used as leak simulators to verify that the test equipment to be able to recognize the leak set in cm3/min or cm3/h. The leak is adjusted by the micro-needle valve in the upper part and measured by the flow sensor inside the instrument .
The color display shows, in real time, flow and leak and by simply touching the screen you can activate a micro-valve, provided inside the instrument, which inserts the leak in the circuit test. You can then immediately determine whether the leak tester in verification is able to recognize the simulated leak. Also, always on the color display, you will see a plot of the pressure curve of the circuit under test. This allows you to "see" the progress of the test and then set with extreme precision and simplicity the correct timings for filling, settling and measure parameters.
Finally, LTC has USB ports for connecting memory (pendrive) on which to save the data of the tests.
To meet the demands of quality control, we recommend using a calibrated leak to periodically check, in a quickly and easily way, the operation of the test instruments. At a predetermined pressure, a calibrated leak guarantees a certified leak rate. So, simply by inserting the calibrated leak in the test circuit, through a STAUBLI connector, it is easy to verify the leak test equipment. All the high-end leak tester produced by Tecna provide STAUBLI connector to use with calibrated leaks.
