Ofhc (oxygen free high conductivity) copper is normally used as this sealing material as it is very clean, can easily be formed to shape, has a wide temperature range, and has a low outgassing rate. excel gaskets are manufactured from precision sheet material (to guarantee a consistent gasket thickness) and then inspected, cleaned and packed. comprehensive range of gaskets in a variety of materials as ofhc copper gaskets are not always needed (or indeed suitable) for all requirements, we have a range of several different types of gasket materials. Some of these gaskets are used in specialised operating conditions, whereas others can be used for most of the general uhv applications.
