Protecta C03 is primarily used in the plywood industries to protect plywood against termites and borers . It is a glue line chemical and is mixed with the glue used while manufacturing Plywood .
It is also used for protecting finished furniture and wooden parts. The product us mixed with a solvent and applied on the surface of the finished wood products.
It is a so-called contact insecticide and will protect the timber even if the chemical is only on the timber surface. However, if you add the chemical in the impregnation plant, the timber is going to be machined at a later stage  and the chemical is in this  case removed from the timber and will no longer protect the timber .
To protect the timber against termites, it is therefore necessary to apply the chemical to the surface of the ready-machined components. You can use water or solvent to dilute. Solvent will penetrate deeper compared to water.

Method of application :

• Surface treatment of finished goods
• Normally we mix 1 kg Protecta C-03 in 500 liter of water / solvent.
• Penetration into timber before seasoning
