Y & T STRAINER

  • Y-Strainerare used in applications where the amount of suspended solids to be removed are less and where frequent cleaning is not required.They are most often installed in gaseous services such as steam, air, nitrogen, natural gas, etc. The compact, cylindrical shape of theY-straineris very strong and can readily accommodate the high pressures that are common in this type of service. AY-strainercan be installed either in a horizontal or vertical position. Our Strainers are furnished with high quality stainless steel screens that are carefully fabricated to fit the strainer body perfectly. This, coupled with the precision machined screen seat on the body of the strainer, protects against any bypass.

Basket Strainer

Basket Strainer

Basket Filters are used for a variety of fluids and applications where the suspended particles are to be retained of any size. Basket Filter elements are reusable and cleanable. Basket Filters are of wrap round type and pleated type. Filter Housings consists of filter element supported with positive sealing arrangement to prevent bypassing.

In Basket Filters; unfiltered fluid passes through the element and the suspended solids are retained inside the filter element. Basket filters are normally supplied with spring arrangement at the top of the filter element.
