Fire-rated glasses can withstand fire for a specified time duration.According to EN Standard 13501-2, fire resistant glazing is classified using the following combinations of letters and numbers:
E:provides a physical barrier against flames, hot gases and smoke.
EW:provides a physical barrier against flames, hot gases and smoke and reduces heat radiation.
EI:provides a physical barrier against flames, hot gases and smoke as well as a reduced surface temperature and resistance against spontaneous ignition on the unexposed side.

Heat-Treated Glass
Available in both fully toughened (tempered) and heat-strengthened form, these glassesare processed through a tempering oven to increase its strength to resist impacts, mechanical loads and thermal stress breakage. Since annealed glasses are very fragile, their use in most building applications cannot be considered since they have a high risk of breakage and can result in serious injuries when broken. The heat-treatment process is now almost mandatory (in some Indian states by law) to prevent it from breaking easily and making it more resilient to any adverse impact by the external environment.
Our heat-treated glass is processed in Indias fastest tempering furnace that guarantees perfect stress levels and minimum optical distortion.

Maximum Size: 2440mm X 5200mm
Can be bent from 1000mm to 10000mm radius range
Can be ceramic-fritted for use in spandrel panels in structural glazing applications
