Metal melting furnaces require cooling to their various systems. If these systems are deprived to cooling then entire furnace seize to function leading to large down time.

By using Mukund make Flowtech flow switch for furnace, this problem can be overcome. The flow switches are installed on cooling water lines. Hence monitoring the flow of the cooling water to various furnace systems.

Field Case:Our client was facing problem in ensuring constant supply of cooling water to the furnace by physical presence of his staff. Flow switch for furnace helped to overcome this problem. Flowtech flow switches installed on various cooling water lines helped to automate the system. The flow switches constantly monitored any discrepancy in cooling water supply. It triggered an alarm in DCS & subsequently corrective action is initiated by the DCS, without any manual intervention.

The domestic flow switches manufactured by us help to eliminate dry run of water pump & also avoid damage to heaters due to lack of water.By using Mukund make Flowtech thermal flow switch, this problem could be overcome. The flow switch is installed on the pump suction line. Hence monitoring all the time water flow from suction line of pump. This gives a unique advantage of actually monitoring the primary parameter to protect dry run of the pump, hence increasing it life and protecting its motor.

1. We have installed this system for a reputed lodge & hotel, where we are monitoring their pump motor installed on underground storage tank. The flow switch is constantly monitoring the suction line of pump.As soon as their under ground tank gets empty the motor is stopped / tripped, hence protecting its dry run.Also we had installed a flow switch to their over head tank to monitor the over flow of water from the tank. Once the over head tank is filled completely, the motor is stopped / tripped to avoid unnecessary pumping of water.

1. We are also catering to their application of monitoring of water line to their hotels centralized water heater system. The domestic flow switch system will keep the heater always filled with water, to avoid any damage to heater due to lack of water.
