Glass Tube Rotameter

We offer Glass Tube Rotameter, which is made using high grade glass and other materials. Our Glass Tube Rotameter is demanded for in-line applications that have operating conditions within the range of Glass metering tubes, like Gas and Liquid.

Principle :
Fluid flow takes place from bottom to top in the tapered borosilicate glass where the float moves up and down freely. The position where the float weight and buoyancy forces are balanced in proportion to flow rate is the place where the float positions itself. The instantaneous flow rate is measured by the Vertical position of the float, shown by the scale.

Acrylic Body Rotameter

Acrylic Body Rotameter is essentially used in general in-line applications that involve gases and liquids. The design of the Acrylic Body Rotameter is made as per global standards and tested thoroughly to rule out any defects.

Principle :

Bypass Rotameter

We offer Bypass Rotameter, which offers accurate measurements in different applications. The Bypass Rotameter is actually a modification of the Orifice Rotameter and used to enhance its functioning and range. The addition of a bypass leg is done around the orifice and it has a similar pressure drop. The mainline flow and bypassed flow become directly proportional in this manner. The Bypass Rotameter has a linear functioning and is easier to read than an orifice meter. The Bypass Rotameter easily handles any flow rate and metering or matter (liquid/gas).
Components :
Mainline Orifice Plate : used to create pressure differential. The meter functions due to this differential across the plate and the mainline orifice.Orifice Flanges / Carrier Ring : they serve two purposes. Apart from holding the mainline orifice plate in the pipeline in a proper position, they also channelize the flow in the orifice from the high-pressure side to the low-pressure side. Bypass piping can also have a direct connection with the pipeline using vena contracta taps, pipe taps, radius taps, etc. for this purpose.Variable Area Flow Meter : used in the measurement of bypass flowRange Orifice : positioned before the flow meter or after it. The range orifice is sized to equalize the pressure differential between bypass-piping and the mainline orifice.Bypass Piping : used in two types of connections likeUpstream side of mainline taps to inlet sideDownstream side of the mainline taps to the outlet side
